two for two

so i was provided with access to the reports and data and i downloaded what i needed and worked some data modification (cuz seldom is a database fine tuned enough to provide exactly what someone wants in a report and this place is definitely ready for database revisions like the one i sold earlier) and excel pivot table magic and reviewed and summarized and analyzed and formatted and sent the report out and hip hip hooray, it was exactly what they were looking for... i sense i genuinely and definitely pleased and impressed my boss today and hopefully she will not feel too threatened as she sees my skills as she, like my last boss, has minimal computer skills... big difference though is she does not appear to be nearly as insecure or paranoid (or narcissistic) as the last boss and the hope that we will continue to develop a positive and healthy and mutually beneficial professional relationship remains high... i know, after all the screw jobs and betrayals i've personally experienced in this life, it is illogical and maybe even irrational for me to actually trust anyone, but not trusting does not work for me any better than trusting and how do you know if you can trust someone unless you actually trust them anyway so life goes on and the worklife is smiling big time today... even on nearly no sleep...

adrenaline is a wonderful thing... and a love of numbers too... and caffeine helps too...
