yeah, the big dog next door stayed out on the porch until about 11:30 barking loudly but they took it in and closed their porch door so they must have heard the police officer the office had to send over to them a few weeks ago as their dog was barking and howling constantly all night for several nights in a row (i think they went away for a few days and made no arrangements for dog care at night)... after 11pm they can get a fine and even lose the dog if they can't control it's noise... good for the dog to get their attention instead of being ignore... good for us neighbors too...

meanwhile, the ucf game when to 2 overtimes and then ucf won, yay... very surprising as the other team, smu, was 0-5 on the season and this was a home game for ucf... ucf does not have as good a defense as touted from what i saw... they seem to tired fast in the second half and even more in the 4th quarter and a better team would have beaten them in regulation... but a win is a win...

meanwhile, the yankee game is in extra innings again after a very poor hitting performance left them down 4-0 going into the bottom of the ninth and two home runs then tie it up in the bottom of the night and ibanez, again hits a game tying home run in the bottom of the ninth... so that game continues... phew lol...

i am not as into sports emotionally as jackson and most people... really don't have hard core favorite teams, but being a new yorker, it's fun to route for new york teams... i've not seen a home plate umpire so not connected to the ball/strike graphic in a long time and not listened to announcers so not into that obvious on screen graphic showing the consistent disparity... guess they are told by their bosses to ignore controversy, it is the turner station, after all... maybe it is the station's strike box itself that is wrong...
