sleep, write, rush

of course i left out happiness staring me down for walks and food and attention, but that's just part of any day off at home (always)... woke early and went back to sleep and woke again about 1pm, yay for sleeping in (and when i say sleeping in, i mean noon or later cuz, after all, waiting for sunrise is a good night :)

a text from jackson lead me to check emails partially (i have not even opened the email program in more than a week... i do not like emails, way too much spam... i don't check snail mail much either anymore... isn't that a change from where i once was on such communications, but anyway) which lead me to read and comment on this article and then the phone rang...

and another email let me know that a friend left me a blog letter (we share a private blog for communications and keeping in touch) and i went there and wrote a seven part comment letter in response...

and a phone call from the lawyer for the old man's estate lead me to another phone call to a bank and they will be sending me information on how to identify myself as someone who is supposed to get some money... yay for sudden money, but not counting it yet cuz who knows if it's real until the check clear in my account which could be weeks, at least...

and that was the afternoon since waking and now i must rush through a shower and food and walking happiness again and getting dressed and out to the fields for a game... hopefully i can get to the batting cages first, which means get up and get wet and clean-awake and moving...
