more fun to win?

for ego, yes... for the part of me influenced by the superficiality and possessiveness of the culture in the usa (not that the usa has dibs on this), yes... but for much of me, playing well and laughing with friends and caring and staying healthy is much more fun than winning with cold strangers who could care less about anything except winning like when subbing in for a highly competitive tournament team... anyway, tonight everybody was happy, we won both games and i played well enough to satisfy myself, especially cuz i held a powerful hitting team to eight runs in six innings and i knocked in three of our eleven runs... most important, we had fun with each other because we care and are softball friends... the first game we won by forfeit cuz the other team did not have enough players... so far that team, which is co-ed and jackson plays on it, is 2-0 and won both games by forfeit... the second team, which is a mens team, is 2-0 and won the first game by forfeit... not exactly great for the league, but hey, looks good for us on paper...

and now i am tired cuz i have not eaten today and ran a lot so it is time to forage for food... hope you have fun with friends some days :)
