clothes shopping and a treat

so i had $40 in kohl's cash that was gonna expire this week so jackson said she'd come out to help me spend it and she was very patient and tried to be helpful in picking out shirts and pants for work and i found a $160 dressy sports jacket on the clearance rack for $16 and it fit and did not have any stains or flaws... worth the trip all by itself... and we bought a couple of stuffed animals for jackson's nieces and yay for remembering i had the $40 kohl's cash and yay for jackson helping me get out there to spend it and yay for bargains and best friends...

after we stopped for a treat (i know, i was swearing i had to drop the belly weight trying on pants and we still stop for a snack, my idea of course)... brewster's, where we each got a nathan's frank (hot dog) and a sundae... oh yes we did... and then a stop at the post office provided the first check for the first week of the new job and another check from rasputin for his phone which is still on my line and i had to start asking him to pay over the summer what with my being unemployed... i still pay for precious's phone, but she's younger and i am way too soft a touch... shaddup...

nice to find checks... and oh, but the nathan's and the brewster's was so good :)
