meat fatigue

using up the food that is in the freezer, i made a ton of meatloaf (ok, not a ton, but there was probably four or five pounds of meat and i had made rice the night before for the shrimp i made so i used rice as a filler along with bread crumbs and oatmeal (yes, oatmeal, perhaps an attempt to counteract the cholesterol? or just cuz i wanted to explore something new) and onions in red sauce and garlic salt and tomato sauce and some ketchup and a few assorted spices (i think that's all... should i start a gourmet food blog now?) and it turned out to be more than ten pounds of meatloaf and jackson doesn't eat much red meat so i ate it for lunch and dinner yesterday and now feel what i have come to call meat fatigue which is a blurry grogginess associated with eating a lot of red meat that lingers into the next day after waking...

doesn't help that i am fighting off a major bug that my boss coughed all over my office on wednesday... it has been trying to attack all week and a whole lot of people at work have it and i avoided it until my boss decided it was time to give it to me by hacking all over my tiny office without covering his mouth and yes i was in there and oh well, can't avoid the boss every day)... so feeling meat fatigue and groggy, but otherwise, gonna make it a great day starting with a walk/run...
