saturday night cards with friends kinda like it used to be a few years back (has it been six or seven years already?... guess so) when four of us would sit around all night playing cards... working the night shift, there had to be a safe way to stay alert, that was ours... and tonight one of those co-workers from way back and her mom who was visiting from her home town and jackson and i played texas hold'em after eating her mom's chicken and dumplings...
and home again... jackson's computer is sweet... and some more stuffed cabbage filling type meatloaf (i know, the check-in with the doctor monday will not be as he wanted, but the running this week is a good sign so next time should be better)... and now, some vegetating with spades and tv...
life is good (yeah, wouldn't mind sharing the night, but still it's good :)

If people had visible signs or meters that told something about them, what would you want it to tell you?
