yeah, the teal back in real time, home from softball after an 18-3 win... they wouldn't let us play more than three innings, which sucks, cuz i wanted to play more... i should have gone to the batting cages after the game, but then, long day, long week, the eagerness to get home and relax put everything else out of my head... gotta step up the exercise though if i want the weight to continue dropping off...
the past few days at work have been non-stop geek-work crunching numbers in access and excel and writing summary reports to close cases and even some organizing of the office, but the paper still flows in faster than it can be completely read, transcribed, entered, aggregated, processed, re-worked, graphed, analyzed, transmitted, reported, and filed... the filing part almost never happens, so the piles just continue to grow waiting for the someday i might have time to actually file... creating a filing system might help... an assistant and a secretary too, but not in this system... the ceo has just had it too good for too long...
i suppose i'll come in one weekend and spend 48 hours doing that... a life partner into sharing everything would make life so much more practically perfectly organized... mary poppins meets meg ryan meets melissa etheridge meets mila kunis meets lenka meets anna paquin meets stevi nicks meets neve campbell meets lisa loeb meets robin williams meets oh, you know libbo's dreams...
but here, in the real, not gonna leave the 190s again, so there...
now we'll see if i keep that half-assed commitment... i'm so human these days, by osmosis, no doubt... deeper and deeper into the chameleon ways, will the right background ever arrive?...
