rushing from one field to the other

double headers in both leagues today and jackson decided to skip church and play in both (yay jackson) and so we headed to the first double header and played the two games and the first, exciting... we came back to tie the game in the last inning and went to extra innings and the other team scored seven runs on a lot of errors and we came up in the bottom of the extra inning and scored eight runs to win... great game, great comeback, but we should have won long before and our mistakes kept haunting us and nobody was hitting (i walked twice and got two hits in the first game and walked once and got threee hits in the second game... the coach was back for the first time in a few weeks and he batted me fourth and i was glad i came through)...

the second game was not as fun as more errors and a better hitting team run ruled us in 5 innings and once again one of our players swung the bat with a 3-1 count and two outs and bases loaded and that's been happening on both sunday teams way too often (just one guy does it too often on the afternoon team... a few do it in the morning... and yelling 3-1 red light don't swing does not seem to help)... fundamentals win and lose games more than anything else and we have a few players weak on fundamentals, but the frustration is they do not listen and learn... so we won one and lost one and are heading into the last week of the season with a 5-6 record and will likely finish 5-7 as we play a 9-2 team that should have not trouble beating us... but i'll hope anyway :)
