almost famous

yeah, the claim to fame was passed to me as i was volunteered to be an assistant organizer in the biggest group in orlando... hopefully the people i am starting to call friends who are organizers in smaller groups will not back away or be offended cuz i told them i did not want to be an official organizer and they didn't volunteer me... but people, especially meetup organizers, can be so territorial and possessive and controlling... anyway, i am now known by more meetup people than i was before, a whole lot more... for what it's worth and all... maybe it was the butterfly...

softball is back

softball is yet another of my many addictions... if i could, i'd play five times a week... but there aren't that many different leagues available and every league i know of plays only once a week... of course it would be even more fun if i dropped the gut and rebuilt the stamina by running daily as i used to, but then, it's easy to just kick back and say who cares and eat another snack... mmmm, chocolate softballs...

yeah right, nobody even knows i am here (and that is the joke, right?)... but if you did want to know more, there's that calendar link right up there in the upper right corner of the screen that would tell you what is going on in the real life and times as i know the physical world experience, i mean, if you are interested... or you could just call, when reminds me, where's my number? (time to figure out where and how to put it out here, aye?)... and then, there are all the other blogs and stuff...

and yet, that is what this was made for, i think... yeah, movies and games and shows and softball and concerts and dinners and more and more and more... Melissa Etheridge this week, great... JC Superstar twice this week, good... baseball game this week, yay sportfans... met some NY meetup people, cool beans... trivia and poetry and a house concert at the home of the musical director for Cirque Du Soliel... name dropping coolness, aye?... sure, we're all impressed... but seriously busy with life offline and enjoying living these days, and that, my friends and strangers, is the real :)

I hereby petition the universe for longer days. If there is a planet with a slower revolution (Forty-Two hours would be good) and a cleaner environment and more peaceful, honest, real people, I'm ready to relocate.

sleepless nights

being a night time person, that is, have a nocturnal mind that wakes along about midnight and wants to bounce around in the dark, it makes working a day job very challenging for the body... aches in the forehead, neck, and sometimes other places increase as the body demands more rest as in sleep and the mind just keeps going on and on and on into the night... it gets so lonely out here, but worse when the body is cranky and the neck doesn't want to hold the head up anymore but the mind just wants to party all the time...

the second post in this blog was sleepless nights, but the brain continued so i came back here in time to write this past entry because i can do these things... and i'll probably do it again... a lot... i hope someday somebody comes along who can do things too and shares things with me... cuz that is more fun most of the time... especially when i want to curl up and be loved in unconditional trust like a baby... don't you?
