sick really sucks

i just got back from the only 24-hour store in the area, a walmart a couple of miles away... that's insane... there were a few 24-hour places in our old neighborhood... maybe because it was so close to the university... anyway, walmarts are getting pitifully understocked and are no longer the store that has everything... i ran out for compazine but that's not sold over the counter so i both the one anti-nausea medication they had on the shelf... she texted me from bed asking for help, headache, nausea, vomiting, fever, the flu was kicking her butt and the headache and nausea were keeping her awake... i found her curled around the toilet and she'd just thrown up the water she was drinking... i gave her a frozen handkerchief and told her i'd be back asap... she was asleep in bed when i got back... yay... i'll keep checking and give her some of the medication if she wakes up again...

meanwhile, i feel the bug she is fighting trying to take hold in my body... so far, so good... just mucous from the nose and some digestive bubbles... sick really sucks and i hope not to go there... stay focused... and make good use of distractions too... i'll catch up on monday night syfy in on-demand later this week...
