dinner was some fat free turkey over the the mushroom-onion-garlic mix, stuff grape leaves (vegetarian), and baked boneless chicken thighs... the fat free turkey and grape leaves were packed-purchased, but the rest were cooked from raw here... getting better about eating less processed foods... and watching the sun go down on a beautiful sunny day without rain (first one in about two weeks) i am beaming with the peaceful smile that comes from feeling relaxed and cared for... ah, this vacation from the rat race is sweet...
of course then there was the hockey game cuz jackson is into more sports than i am and being a child of chicago, she is devoted to her chicago teams, so we watched the blackhawks play the bruins in the first game of the stanley cup finals while she tried to focus on work (i kept turning off the sound and she kept asking me to turn it back on... but you're supposed to be concentrating and will be away for days after tonight and you have stuff due friday morning, sheesh lol) and by the overtime i was snacking on pistachios and chips (what?... yeah, we blame harpo for the pistachios and the chips were purchased for sanford's party but somehow got brought back her, dangit) and i made a frozen mocha drink with the ice crushing ninja that was delicious and so i am wired and gonna work through updates and system checks of jackson's computer cuz she's been getting odd crashes now and then... yeah, wired... am i?... who me?... what?... where?...
it's a competitive game, even if i am not the greatest hockey fan... hope you are having fun too :)
