so i am stuffing my face with chocolate (kit kats and m&ms) cuz i was thrown out trying to stretch a single into a double because i am slow, fat, old, slow, and i wouldn't slide (easily safe if i slid) because i am slow, fat, old, and fragile, dammit, i do not like feeling fragile but the arm and ankle just did not want to slide in cold weather and that sucks... the first time up i hit into a double play by a half a step... a half step is the extra thirty pounds around my waist, what a waste, bummer, blah blah blah blah bummer... more kitkats, dammit!...
the other team hit like crazy and we didn't, so going 1 for 2 was better than half the team and the other team was killing the ball and we were all moving slowly and making errors (though at least i didn't make any, but i walked two) and it was 14-2 after one inning... we lost 18-8 in five innings, alas, a tough start for a brand new team... the arm definitely did not like the cold and my reflexes were slow because i ate too much dinner and was up since 5am (game started 9pm) and did not get the nap i intended to take today cuz happiness was so needy and so, a world of logical excuses and real reasons and that just leads to another kitkat...
whatever, ya know?... and now, all better (sorta :)
