the calming

after the unexpected morning, we headed to the bank so i could deposit some checks and pick up some money and then we went to lunch at our favorite breakfast place, where we had breakfast cuz that's some of jackson's most comforting comfort food... she had a light crepe, nothing heavy... i had pecan pancakes, yum... we both decided we should lose some weight... again... but with her pains this morning, i think she is more motivated and maybe we will work together to bolster each other's will power... we shall see...

home to relax a bit... and we find happiness came up with unexpected needs too... maybe the stress of jackson's condition overnight triggered his anxiety which aggravated his skin allergies which acted up big time and overnight or this morning while we were out he nipped through his tail skin and a couple of other places... so he will need to see the vet this week... and he will need to wear his cone and have his leg and tail wrapped... but first jackson felt good enough to give him a bath, which he desperately needed... and i cleaned and treated his ears, which he definitely needed... jackson applied his flea treatment and he was a shiny new puppy again... i pulled out the bandaged i bought the last time he was this badly nipping his skin and jackson packed it for tonight when he was completely dry...

jackson is heading to sanford for the night ... and that was the fun for today...
