mid-week lull

there was no mid-week lull in the page view stats during the holidays, but this week there is a distinct mid-week lull as the past ten or more entries have only had one (a couple had two) page views...

sheeesh, this tv show most evil is exploring a lot of gray areas of human behavior but it misses some key connections, like how does a devoutly religious person turn into a cold blooded cult killer... realizing it is trading one delusion for another is not considered, even though that is the most logical and rational reasoning... the group mind is, to me, letting fear of loneliness and fear of not belonging overpower reason so one will do anything to be accepted by a group... external locus of control (control outside self) becomes so powerful because one chooses to find nothing inside... weak ego?... a mind broken and incapable of independent thinking?... somewhere along the way, in childhood when the mind is supposedly too undeveloped or too weak to have a sense of self and understand responsibility for actions and ability to decide for one's self, people lose their minds and themselves in the discipline of adults who lost their minds and themselves the same way... stop looking outside for approval - approve yourself!...

humans are such a sad sick species...
