slow day

nodding off, playing word game, brain slow, gonna nap...

i wonder how to go about finding compatible friends ho have time during the day to hang out... retired people?... younger people out of school?... people with days off during the week who work weekends?... this world, or at least our culture in most places in this country, is so not set up for developing social life... the meet people websites are a great advantage from the pre-internet era, but still does not open the opportunity to meet comfortably and casually as i think if oughta be... we are such a homebody culture, even a paranoid culture afraid of gathering places unless it's for reasons other than to just meet others (religions and causes and other interests)...

yeah, time to nap...
