it is so obvious to anyone who is aware that politicians and the people who play party politics are liars, cheaters, and manipulators that do not play fair in the campaigning or elections and the lack of ethics is nauseating... voter manipulation through lies, propaganda and even partisan manipulation at polling places is abhorrent... even bomb scares called in to close voting places appear to be business as usual as it takes the courts to order polls to stay open longer to allow those who could not vote due to the bomb threat the right to vote... pathetic power plays... i really do not like the way people play politics...
and does the best person get elected?... no... the rich person who could buy the election wins... how can someone who is basically retired and set for life with millions in the bank and millions more coming into their pockets every year relate to, no less represent someone earning $8 an hour or trying to support a family on $16,600 a year before taxes?... could you really live comfortably on $16,600 a year?...
show me one elected official in any national office who is poor or even middle class (not the ridiculous $250,000 middle class level, i mean the even the average salary of $45,000 a year... and show me one who earns minimum wage like so many of those they represent)...
just one...
