still awake again

i am sure there are more important things going on in the world like people who would not be seen dead without make-up (and i realize that when i am close to someone wearing a lot of make-up i am grossed out by the 'look') or the ridiculous celebrity red carpet at the overblown rip-off gathering to watch two grown men try to punch each other senseless in this age where being conscious of head trauma is so in (paging muhammad ali, paging, yeah)... humans are so pretentious and worse, most humans simply want to watch others pretending... the conformity of watching those who conform to irrational illusions (halleluya, aye?)... so sad, if i didn't find the ridiculousness humorous i'd walk around depressed over the hopeless waste of time and energy humans have chosen to become (excuse us, but the cheerleaders want to know when the next war is scheduled?)... madness rationalized...

but for me, the important thing at the moment is i am still awake and was planning on heading into work in four hours but now i might wait for six hours which means i might actually get five hours sleep if i fall asleep in the next few minutes but the pig-out at or just after midnight has me wired (and yes, slightly bloated... human fool, yup) so sleep does not exactly feel nearby... maybe it's the lingering nightmare from last night, the occasionally recurring financial devastation dream that leaves me spirally back to the street again because i get stuck with an apartment least that drains savings and still the fool lives in luxury burning through at least five figures of would-be savings every year... should i trust banks and the government when everything in this culture is so fake and pretentious and ultimately based on shallow egos and greed?... rhetorical, perhaps, but i am still awake...

yeah so what random fact would you like to know?... shall we reinitiate any of the new dailies? (see cha-cha-cha-changes on the right) hoping to become the primary (blogs do have hopes, ya know)...or perhaps i should just say (or write, in thise caee) nite nite and close my eyes...
