listening to george i am reminded of how people used to put their toes into the waters of consciousness and awareness but remained dumbfounded as fear or ignorance or something (the well-trained closed mind that is just the way the vast majority learns to be in this world as belonging and conformity is valued so much more than reality and individuality so delusion is accepted and protected at any cost, perhaps) kept them from diving in to actually being and understanding... and shining, ya know?...
glancing up at south carolina playing notre dame for a few minutes leaves me feeling it doesn't matter who wins the game, neither team has a chance against connecticutt... sad, cuz as much as i admire the work that goes into the ucon women's basketball program, notre dame has been in the finals four out of the last five years and it's been more than a decade since they won it all... and every kid who's played for connecticutt since 1988 has played in the final four... wow...
meanwhile, bringing it back to me in the physical reality, i'm pudgy after a foolish feeding frenzy this past week while barely moving due to an extremely sore back, so next week i must cut back to 500 calories a day again for at least a few days and then 1000 calories for a couple of weeks to finally get back on the road to under 180...
yeah, shine on... or something like that :)
narf :)
happy birthday you :)
ReplyDeleteand
hug (and maybe just a little indulgence today before you get back on the highway below 180?)

ReplyDeletethank you for the happy birthday too :)
won a softball championship tonight and then pigged out on cheeseburgers with jackson and got a surprise birthday celebration and a gift card and cake and brownies at work and took an afternoon nap and had a fun day and yay, you were here and your words prove it to add an even bigger smile when i got home (now if we can just get mikey up off his couch, aye?)...
thank you and i hope my appreciation is a smile and you put some more words or communications somewhere for me to find... so much excitement, so little time :)
