tv football, that is... and add food to the grazing, though channel surfing was a big part of the day and night as many games were on... so today i watched a lot of college football (and as usual the season is ending with more ncaa follies (politics as usual, as usual ruins sport)... there really should be an eight team playoff if we want to decide who is the best team on the field... this year, it's politics as usual in spite of the new "special committee" four team playoff system...
sometimes i need to turn the announcers off because of their bias and misinterpretation of stats and just plain stupidity (thank you captain obvious)... ultimately they are salesmen for the commercial interests and powers that run the sports, justifying the party line rather than accurately and objectively reporting what is real right before our eyes... but i can forgive them and press mute...
