yup, that lazy day sure was a lazy day... watching tv with jackson (since we got the dvr, she's been recording and catching up on the shows she likes... apparently this is what she used to do when she had a dvr years ago and she never asked for one (respecting my wallet since i pay for the cable and internet... and the point of a roommate is?... oh shush, i love the company too) but definitely jumped right back into loving using it... so we caught up on the last season of rizzoli and isles and are ready for the new season in progress and we have ncis recorded too (though the new season isn't in progress yet) and she has major crimes recording and when top chef comes back she will record that too... i have defiance and warehouse 13 and futurama recording so far... jackson isn't into sci-fi and i am not sure she's ever watched futurama, so those will be shows i watch by myself... there are a few other shows i want to record when i make time to explore the tv schedules and check the dvr space limits (you can see what i like to watch here) and so on... sharing tv with a friend is more fun than watching alone, so i will likely watch more now that we have the dvr and she is actively recording and watching...
and dinner was macaroni and cheese (with extra cheese, butter, ketchup, and double baked) and a thin topping of crispy corned beef hash (talk about fat on carbs on fat on carbs with salt and fat and carbs added, huh?)... and yes, i ate the entire huge bowl (kraft deluxe dinner size) and two thirds of the can of hash... this sort of consumption is the american way, after all... stupid, i know... but salads and veggies and healthy food requires spending money more often to buy it fresh and i am back to a no spending mode this week... food in the house, lots of food in the house... maybe we'll get back to the jog/walk tomorrow, aye?...
sigh and all, ya know?... and narf, don't forget the narf lol lam :)
