we passed 50,000 page views and we are approaching 5,000 entries and by the time this is uploaded there might be 5,000 entries before this one because there are days to fill before i sleep cuz one promise is meant to keep and that is to continue reaching out and sharing as well as i am able even if it is just to write and upload the words and wait for the sharing to happen... this is my part of the sharing and all i can do here... and the writer must because the writer must cuz that is how the writer exists, by writing... and the writer is the part of me sharing in words and as long as the writer in me is writing then i am sharing even when i am alone... that's how it works and why i am here... as if that has not been explained a thousand times before but now, here we are approaching 5,000 entries in this blog and it's like that and so it is xmas and what have we done? kind feeling... fun and exciting and wondering what's going on?... i miss the 60s...
i suppose the numerologists among us would want this to be momentous, epic even, to actually reach for and beyond 5,000 entries in one blog (i seldom reached a thousand in previous blogs, but then, previous blogs typically had much much longer entries than this one gets... and rhymes, lyrical words, other blogs got a lot more rhymes)... still, this (e)thereal blog now holds the record for the longest continuous blog/book i've written in time and also the most entries or chapters... unless you consider the whole of the written gardens a single book in which case, any comparison is moot unless of course we just compare chapters and sections and now we might be complicating the whole numerology counting thing a bit more than necessary... ya think?...
alas, there will be no grand celebration here for the 5,000th entry cuz nobody knows it exists... though helena did mention knowing i had a blog when we got together for the first time in more years (i think) than this blog has existed, so maybe i have a local reader, however occasional, and maybe others too who simply do not mention it (jackson?... harpo?... precious, rasputin, anybody?)... have i digressed again?...
well, we are approaching 5,000... now where did i put those fireworks?...

yes... raspy is in tucson with his brother's family... he was taking care of the kids for them and working part time when he finds jobs... he was talking about returning to orlando but the job market is slow... they are both still on my phone line so i hear from him at least once a month when he sends a money order for his line... precious is still in orlando and while we don't get together as often as we'd like (mostly my laziness and lack of reaching out and attempts to save money), we still keep in touch... she's still a sweetheart working hard (and needs to pay for her phone, her me precious? lol :)
