sports on tv

in these years living with jackson i've watched more sports on tv than i have since i was a teenager and was caught up in the miracle mets crazy 1969 season when i went to 30 games (sitting in $2 loge seats, usually... that's the section just above the box seats and usually the seats were better than a lot of the box seats cuz they were between home and first (or home and third) and we often headed down to the dugout during the game when there were some empty seats... toward the end of that season, there were none)... anyway, tonight it's college baseball world series and the nba finals game six...

the nba, what a joke... it would be sweet to see the spurs close the ego-mania of miami and the biased hype of the media, but the nba has a scrot and the script is to remedy the humiliating prediction lebron made to give him and the nba superficial credibility so... credibility?... the nba decided the three referees for this game will be the refs that helped miami run away with the two games they won in this series... that is one big way the nba controls who wins, by changing the referee crew for each game in a series... that is stupid because it keeps throwing the players off their game (and we watch to see the players play they best, not to watch changing referees get in their way) because each referee and crew has a difference level of foul calling... this is the crew that called the phantom fouls on duncan and the spurs and ignored the heat's flopping (to the point where the nba had to fine the heat for one of the flops that simply could not be ignored by anyone except the referees who called a foul on duncan instead of calling the flop)... so much bias should help miami win this game and stick with the nba script... i'm watching college baseball until jackson gets home... i don't like scripted reality tv...

anyway, it's sports on tv tonight... enjoy whatever you do too :)
