party all the time

yes, i do, but not always with others... two birthday parties with others tonight though... the first one a surprise party in a backward in the pouring rain... yeah, so park around the corner and walk and wait in the backyard for them to come home?... be there at 6:00pm... and they don't get home until 7:00pm... well, everybody parked as close to the house as possible and some of us sat in the living room (though three big tents were set up outside) and luckily, the thundering crashing rain let up around 6:20pm and it was just a steady drizzle the rest of the evening... all evening... so the burgers and dogs were not appealing cuz they were cooked early and were sitting in the humidity for more than an hour and the humidity was stifling, but fun was had in spite of the obstacles... better for me that the grilling was done as it was and i did not eat the burgers or dogs or bread... buffalo chicken dip with chips and carrot sticks was the dinner... and i met a bunch of people i didn't know, though no one i'll contact again... i did catch up with a friend i hadn't seen in a while... and it was easier to pull away to head to the next party after about three hours... so onward and all that, drip drip drip lol...

party two started at 6:00pm promptly (cuz harpo was in charge) at sweet tomatoes... healthy food, i missed it... they headed to harpo's house and by 9pm they were ready to start the organized party activities (harpo is a showman and likes his structured activities a lot)... an hour of a game show style celebration for the party boy... and a few other party boys (cuz this was a party celebrating five birthdays all falling around this week) and a party girl too... there was a nipple sucking contest and a name that strained baby food flavor contest (one contestant participated in the second contest cuz is required a blindfold and the baby foods were dumped in the hands, or on the head in some cases... he got to shower afterwards)... and after that we settled into games... and fun was had by all... though a touch of controversy as a few new people invited by the birthday boy showed up late and one girl was so large she broke a chair and that upset harpo a lot (understandably, though it's not pc to fault fat people for their suicidal eating habits even when that leads to property destruction or other intrusions or inconveniences in someone else's space, ya know?) so he was constantly cleaning and putting things away (i had to keep looking for my water and phone and at one point we took a break to get some snacks and when we came back the table and chairs we were using was folded up and put away... alas, dear harpo, he likes to be in extreme control, especially in his house) to keep from freaking out... we settled down after midnight (closer to 2am probably) when everybody else except the birthday people left played a game and he finally sat down and played too... oh, the fun and frolic and drama of human interactions, aye?...
