ok, so the shave was last night, but the haircut and lunch were today... with all the bravado of crosby stills nash and young, i almost cut my hair, but i didn't... i paid someone else to do it because i am giving into conformity and grooming for the corporate director job i will be interviewing for next tuesday (no hamburgers today, whimpie) and i figured a professional won't botch up the haircut as much as i would even though i have a full scale grooming buzzsaw (kit) for hair cutting and beard grooing and all that... so the face is clean shaved (dang double chin shows again) and the hair is groomed as much as i allow grooming (i don't conform completely) and jackson says it looks good (but she likes the clean-shaven groomed look and seriously does not like beards)...
and then we met for to lunch... jason's deli (not as good as pickle's deli, but she prefers the salad bar at jason's primarily cuz pickles doesn't have one) and yummy... of course it was not wise to eat a rachel (which they call a pastrami reuben) and a salad and a dr pepper (but i only ate a couple of chips) when i am trying to fit into one of my dress pants and business clothes (or considering buying a suit this weekend), but jackson talked me into it... yup, it's all her fault... so the meat was not new york pastrami, but oh so yummy...
and now, relaxing at home with happiness while jackson and her sister head out to a concert... and enjoying the thunderstorm, kaboom! kaboom!... hope you are enjoying your day too :)
