not that i did much... jackson found the wallet and i just looked up the address online and called the number and left a message about the wallet, but i got to feel good being thanked a dozen times by a very appreciative kid (apparently there was money on the various gift cards in the wallet cuz he uses them for lunch and sundries and he doesn't carry cash)... and a license and student id costs money to replace, so yeah, so he was a very happy camper to get his wallet and cards back and have a life lesson that there are good people in the world... paying it forward for the neighbor who found jackson's laptop... perhaps there is hope for humanity yet...
and a nap, four hours, and a text message woke me and i was dry, so i drank gobs of water (i don't know how mcuch a gob is, but it's more than lots, m'ok?) and happiness and i went for a long walk and he drank gobs of water when he got back in (and was not resisting coming back in for a change) and he's panting and smiling and laid out flat on the carpet under the ceiling fan which i turned on high cuz he likes that...
i've went on a bit of a winning streak in the ruzzle game and i passed my longest winning streak which was 17 and am now up to 19 wins in a row... one more win and i reach another "achievement" lol... wins in a row... my new rating is 1891 and my won-lost record is 245-133... yeah, the excitement is unbearable lol...
