i was going to make some hamburger patties out of the chopped meat i bought and i added an assortment of spices (new ones i just bought at costco, a smoked blend, a garlic parmesean herbal blend, minced garlic, chopped onions, garlic, salt) and after mixing (wisely, i used gloves... i used gloves before, but rarely do... the warmth from the hands melts some of the meat fat and smoothes the balls but i had that minor accident and i am keeping my thumb dry because of the the cut on my thumb so i used gloves and that made it a bit stickier but it was much cleaner) and found myself making meatballs instead... i did not add egg or any other emulsifier so it will be interesting to see how well the balls stay together, but cooking is a constantly changing experiment and i rarely cook the same food the exact same way twice, though i do have favorite spices and foods so many times foods come out very similar...
meatballs and spaghetti for dinner tonight?... not quite on my strict low fat low carb but most of all minimal calorie diet, but that's is what is cooking... the fragrance is instigating a saliva flow... this will be an early dinner...
