was determined to focus and play better at softball tonight as it was an elimination game in the playoffs and we won 16-13... we went into the last inning up 16-4, so they almost came back on us due to errors and a few hits but we held them off by getting their weaker hitters out... i only walked one this game, in the last inning and i think the umpire was wrong on that call, but oh well... i went 3 for 3 at the plate, batting ninth and scoring twice while batting in two... there are five teams in the league and the #1 team is undefeated, but we can match with the other teams even though we finished fifth... today we beat the team that finished fourth (they came back and beat us by a run in the last game of the season)... next week we play the team that finished third (they came back and beat us by a run in the next to the last game of the season)... if we hold errors to a minimum, i pitch as consistently as i did and we hit like we did tonight, we have a good shot... hopefully we will... yay for a win and moving to the next round of the playoffs (who knows if that linkk will work tomorrow)...
after the game we went out to eat (i like this team cuz a few of us go out after each game) and i had a cobb salad with ceasar dressing... and i continue to stay away from sugar waters by driinkinh water with lemon (in spite of the crappy tasting water around here)... maybe determination to drop some weight will prevail... stopping for cup cakes and m&ms in the way home didn't help though... time for a steamy shower...
