shellfish are scavengers and probable full of the worst sort of poisons that we've polluted the waters with for years and as a child i had an instinctive aversion to the taste of almost all fish and meat (though meatballs and hamburgers with the right seasonings and sauces or ketchup and cheese were able to slip through the instincts), but as i aged breaded and fried shellfish became a favorite taste and then cheese sauce shellfish became a favorite taste and now the shellfish itself is the delicious taste, no breading, frying, or sauces needed... well, it could be the influence of tv commercials, but i am craving shellfish at the moment...
