a few hours ago, at least, actually, i nodded off and slept well as in a full 4 hour cycle and i am torn now between heading into bed and waking happiness for a walk cuz he is fast asleep in jackson's room (jackson is away for the night) and i don't want to turn lights on and wake him and wake myself especially now cuz the arm wakes me every hour or two and then i'll be up all night and i could so easily just fall back to sleep right now so... i'll just lay out here and sleep so he can wake me if he needs me... he can't wake me if i am in bed cuz he's old and doesn't jump up on the bed anymore and i don't want him having an accident in my room so i close my door when i am in there also cuz he sheds so much and most of my pants are black or dark and i always walk around with hair on clothes when i dress or leave clothes in the living room (so i seldom do) so he doesn't go into my room much which also leaves my room smelling better cuz he's gotten to be a real stinky dog as he ages (jackson is immune to his smell... the last apartment charged $400 for carpet replacement cuz it smelled so much... partly cuz he expresses his anal glands by rubbing his butt on the carpet when we are away and anal glands really stick something awful, but also cuz he pees on his legs when he pees cuz, well, he's gotten so old... we would bath him more, but his skin allergies flare up when his skin is dried out from too much bathing so... he stinks a lot... the challenges of an older doggie)... i still love him and cuddle with him in the living room all the time, just not in my room... so i sleep in the living room a lot when she is away...
writing all this the next morning cuz i did actually sleep more at the time of this entry :)
