he's been sitting directly in front of me staring at me for an hour now... i've been on the phone and my laughing and conversation must have woken him and of course, he expects me to drop everything and either pet him, feed him, or walk him... so goes the life of a dog... especially an old dog, i mean, he just went out four hours ago and he's getting into a habit of going out so often i'm a bit concerned about how he will deal with the ling hours without a walk when i head back to work... his constant staring and jumping up at my every movement would really be annoying if i did not detach myself from my emotions and rationalize that this is dog behavior and i must not untrain all his years of being home alone all day cuz his older bladder muscles do not need to weaken...
on the other hand, we do need the exercise :)
