though what i do might not be called yoga in any formal sense as it does not come from a book or teaching or training or outside of my head, but when i remember i find the stretches and movements that relieve the pressures and pains in this body pretty well and this morning i am almost painless with the arm being the only discomfort and yet i have better range of motion than i have had since the injury... the tinnitus continues, but that's just a madness i live with...
it is a stretching of the spine, primarily... easily done with a pillow in a prone position... and this leads to postural corrections... comfort in these bodies is so tied in with posture as all the nerves that tell the brain how the body feels run through the spine... the neck pain is actually a reminder that i am bent the wrong way, but i ignore it well sometimes and the pain just gets worse... forgetting and ignoring, silly human tricks i picked up along the way...
the reminder in the last entry seems to have helped me remember (good reminder, here's a reminder treat for you)... and now after a restful sleep that i may or may not break into several entries as i do many days (though not so much desire to do that at this moment), a shower and relaxing here as the day will begin slowly and comfortably today... all that's left to go before my 9am interview is choose clothes, dress, and drive over...
i hope your night and day smiles for you :)
