deed, get it?... well, almost... so except for the fact that i am spending savings and may never retire permanently unless some adorable rich person wants me, my incorrigible hopefulness, and my irreverent sense of humor to share this journey through life till death do us part or something like that, everything worked out well... apparently, even unemployed, we were immediately approved and not only that, qualified for a waiver of the $500 deposit... the word on the place is they do virtually no background or credit checks and apparently that is true... the crime report on the place was on the good side of the average for the area and there was only one complaint posted on the apartment ratings website in 2012 back in march and it was typical of a northerner relocating to florida, complants of roaches and dog poop... 2011 had four reviews, the last one excellent and the first three negative, but written in such a personal way that it diminished credibility... so hopefully the sense we got that it was a quiet comfortable place with the usual pros and cons that come with living in an older florida apartment community... we are very happy with our choice so far :)
i hope life is somehow smiling more than frowning for you too... or at least smiling a little if it's not a good day :)
