and actually went into bed... and decided to actually stay in bed... so instead of a manic babble, tonight may be the quietest saturday night in many weeks... no parties, no late nights, no snacking, just sleep... it is an important thing, so very important as i am starting to accept that the body is hurting from over-exercise of some muscles and under-exercise from other muscles... the right arm and hand is developing a muscle/joint issue like arthritis (or one of those inflammatory conditions)... it comes from a lifetime of daily writing, intensive use of the pen holding and writing muscles... and then, pitching uses the same muscles and pitching ten games a week or more with the spins (curves, sliders, knuckles, screws) i put on the ball is finally hurting the muscles and finger joints... i must face it... eventually...
and play through it... movement is one of the primary ways to make it feel better, so i must heal this arm injury so i can keep moving and then adjust my pitching style for longevity... cut back on the hardest spin moves... play at a lighter pace... shhhh, aging happens, just sleep... eventually...
don't stop though, just don't stop...
