yeah, come on, get back jack... day four of the new push saw a reduction in distance but an ever so slight increase in pace (9 seconds over 5 laps, or 2.5K)... still not really ready for the 5K on saturday, but as expected as i waited too long to start this training... still, i owe jane (thank you jane, i love you) for this wake up call as inviting me to her runner's club pre-marathon party seems to have kick started the runner in me and hopefully these morning jog/walks will turn into morning jogs and then morning runs and then continue (and the body holds out and doesn't die, ya know)... dropping weight is essential to improving time and staying alive as i am definitely more than 30 pounds over the most efficient body weight (180s) for this body as of today... maybe it is time to start getting on the scale again (i did for the first time yesterday... 210... that's in the max range for this body... all this sedentary time not working and not playing ball and the holidays combined to put on 10-15+ pounds i think)...
yeah, words... but fourth day in a row for a morning jog/walk is a good thing... and i was almost excited to get out there as opposed to dragging myself... somebody cheer, aye? lol lam :)
i know, it's way too soon for cheers, but yay anyway :)
