a trip to the post office produced only one of the three checks i was hoping to see... the small, but needed one, from rasputin for his part of the phone bill... i still cover the bill for precious, which really needs to stop, alas... the other two checks are how i plan on surviving (not to mention covering the administration fees and application fees and deposits and pet fees and moving costs and, oh yeah, rent) until i find another source of income and they have been delayed... one due to some paperwork glitch i will call to check into tomorrow... the other because, who knows... the management of the estate of the old guy who was my legal father for a little while has been managed, well, slowly at best and most of it went, well, who knows where... but some money is supposed to be coming since i signed papers a few weeks ago... hopefully really soon...
