it is ridiculous... the petfooddirect company is so very indirect and requires the prescription for the hills prescription dog food and even for treats... if the dog has a prescription for the food, a separate prescription for the treats made of the same cereal is silly... the pretentiousness is amazing... this is cereal we are buying people... no drugs, no controlled substances, just very expensive cereal... to make people jump through hoops to pay more than $2 a can for cereal is a sad sign of the madness of this culture... it is such a ridiculous scam it isn't funny...
research shows the food may not even a healthy diet for a carnivore... half the reviews by veterinary sites claim there is no benefit from the expensive cereal... and yet, this food that is only sold by vets or by this online company (can we say monopoly boys and girls?) is forced on uninformed pet owners through scare tactics along with the expensive medical tests and surgeries for those who can afford them... just a few hours of research will show so many opposing recommendations it is...
