even when i am achy and crabby, i really like the team jackson put together for sunday afternoons... and tonight most everybody was hitting and fielding well and we played a very poor hitting team so we won 15-3... it is so nice to have fielders behind me who can actually field the ground balls, throw to first and second to get outs, catch the fly balls, and get the ball to second quickly... even when we lose, these guys are fun cuz they know the game and talk the game and that makes playing more fun... so we had fun :)
i swung at a bad pitch first time up and my arm was really hurting (walked a guy in the last inning), but otherwise did ok... caught a pop up, which is getting a little easier than it has been - don't get a whole lot of pop-up practice... handled a couple of ground balls without error... went 2 for three with two solid hits to right and a few rbis after that first bad swing... the arm hurt a lot, gonna rest it all week to be ready for the three playoff games friday nigth... and a 5k saturday morning...
daily exercise should start very soon if i am not totally suicidal :)
