working on the second spreadsheet template for the place since they are working with an eight year old database that is, well, eight years old and behind the times in many ways... what i will provide is a temporary fix and they can do what they want with it (if anybody knows excel well enough to use it) when i leave... they have their IT people working on a new database system built into their growing electronic records system so hopefully the IT people understand what the risk management and quality people need or the same or similar inadequacies could happen... it should be rolled out early next year and hopefully i will have a another full time job somewhere by then...
