as in wonderful squared... we won the game and were then surprised because we were told we were now tied with the team we beat and had to play a playoof for the championship... and we thought we were a game ahead of the team we played and tied for first with another team... and the umpire told us that the other team forfeited their games (one with us and one with the team we beat) and anyway, we started another game - but sent our coach up to the office to question the standings and after scoring a few runs in the first inning, before i could throw a pitch to the other team, a call came from the office to tell the score-keeper and umpires that they had it wrong, that if the other team won they would be tied with us and we'd have to play a playoff, but because we won, we were the champions...
yup, we are the champions, (my friends :)
nobody wanted to stay out and celebrate, mostly cuz nobody expected the season to be over this week cuz we had another game scheduled for next week against the team tied for 1st with us, but since they forfeited, we win tonight and we are the champions (my friends)... so i am heading to the wing house with my other team (the lucky charms)...
