yeah, i didn't stay after the game cuz i was not in the mood to sit and watch beer drinkers eat greasy foods... i alternated at first base again... not exactly sure why i was replaced as the pitcher and put at first base after i told the coach i've never played first base, but i can take a hint... might not be going next week as it'll probably be the last week for this team anyway... it just isn't worth it to rush from work in traffic to touch the ball once and get up to bat twice... in a way, it might be for the best aas my right achille's tendon definitely needs rest... i'll still have sundays and thursdays...
we lost... the pitcher just lobs the ball over and the other team belts it all over the field... one of the other players asked me why i wasn't pitching and why we were throwing meatballs (soft easy to hit pitches)... i just said i wonder the same thing... i didn't get into the game much since i was just standing around watching most of the time... so i'm home and will enjoy house and bones...
